Media Risk Assessment 

 

Location one: The drive way  

Risks:  

There could be some moving cars coming on and off the drive so there's the risk of getting hit by one of these. so we need to stand way clear if any turn up.  

The ground could be slippery if the weather is wet so we best be careful when walking around the scene. 

There could be possible trip hazards around the drive way so we need to be careful not to fall while on set of filming. 

Prop risks: 

The car can be very dangerous if used inappropriate as it can be ran into someone or something, We will use the car responsibly. 

 

Location two: The shed 

Risks:  

Trip hazards around the room be careful when moving. 

Electrical things around try not get water near or in them. 

Spot lights will get very hot after use, try not to touch the glass when moving them.  

The use of rope could be a risk as it could strangle someone 

Prop risks: 

We will be using a chair which can be a trip hazard in the dark 

We are also using spot lights which can get very warm when in use so be careful not to touch them after 

The rop we're using can also be a risk as it can be a trip hazard. 

 

Location three: The road side 

Risks: 

The road may be busy with traffic so keep away from the it. 

There may be pot holes around the edge so be careful not to trip in them. 

The grass may be long so be careful when walking through it not to trip over. 

Lorries may go by so stand well out of the way to stay safe.

The car can be very dangerous if used inappropriate as it can be ran into someone or something, We will use the car responsibly. 

 

 

Location four: Woodside road  

Risks:  

Traffic may pass on the road so stand well out of way to prevent getting hit by any of the traffic 

There could be some sharp plants or nettles that could hurt someone around the wooded area so be careful where you're standing.

The car can be very dangerous if used inappropriate as it can be ran into someone or something, We will use the car responsibly. 

We will be using an axe so we will be careful not to cut our selves on the sharp and will handle it with care
